This article provides a step-by-step guide on configuring the RetroArch menu driver to switch from the Ozone interface to the XMB layout. Users will learn how to navigate the settings menu to locate the driver options and apply the changes immediately. By following these instructions, you can customize your frontend experience to match your preferred navigation style.
To begin the process, launch the RetroArch application on your device. Once the main interface loads, navigate to the Settings option from the main menu. This section contains all the core configuration options required to alter the system behavior and appearance.
Inside the Settings menu, scroll down until you find the User Interface option. Select this to access the specific configurations related to the menu layout and behavior. Within the User Interface submenu, look for the setting labeled Menu Driver. This option controls which graphical interface RetroArch uses to display your games and settings.
Click on the Menu Driver setting to view the available options. You will see a list that includes Ozone, XMB, Glui, and others. Select XMB from this list to change the driver from the current Ozone setup to the classic XMB interface. After selecting XMB, you must restart RetroArch for the changes to take effect.
